Bug Therapy is an animated short film by Jason Reisig.
It is about a mosquito named Citronella who finds herself having to attend a therapy session in spite of not wanting to.

Tropes
- Afraid of Blood: The reason Citronella attended the meeting was because she is a mosquito who faints at the sight of blood.
- All Animals Are Dogs: The leaf bug acts very much like a canine.
- A God Am I: The Mantis believes herself to be god and claims that people should be praying to her.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: The girl Dragonfly is so attached to the boy Dragonfly that she gets offended at the claim of them having couples issues. Not helping is the fact she has No Sense of Personal Space, constantly holding onto him.
- Creepy Crows: All of the bugs are afraid of crows and for good reason. At the end, the Grasshopper is swooped up by a crow.
- Hypocrite: Dr. Pill tells his clients not to laugh at others for their ordeals. Once Citronella tells the group about her fear of blood, he actually joins them in laughing at her.
- Ink-Suit Actor: Dr. Pill is very clearly meant to be reminiscent of Dr. Phil. He is also voiced by the man himself.
- Ironic Fear:
- The Spider is afraid of... well spiders. When Citronella prepares to point this detail out, everybody shushes her.
- Citronella, a mosquito who is known for drinking blood, faints at the sight of blood.
- Irony: Almost each of the bugs has an issue akin to what they are. That includes Citronella.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After claiming they don't laugh at one another, The entire group laughs at Citronella over her passing out at the sight of blood. They are all (except the grasshopper who took off to get more coffee) crushed under a wine glass shortly afterward, leaving Citronella to laugh at them before passing out when she notices what she assumes to be blood. When the Grasshopper returns, he gets snatched by a bird after laughing
- Must Have Caffeine: The Grasshopper is addicted to coffee to the point that he leaves the group frequently to get more at Starbucks.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Citronella attempts to leave upon hearing Dr. Pill state they would be sharing their darkest secrets. She gets stopped by the Spider appearing in front of her.
- Terrified of Germs: The Stinkbug is so much of a germaphobe that he is constantly rubbing himself all over with hand sanitizer.
