- The Cameo: CHANDLER FOGLE, Silverreploid CLE, and Kevonica, the voice actors of IRIS, Lucas, Dr. Stone and Deltacom, all make cameos in the remake of the first episode.
- Fire-Forged Friends: IRIS first met Lucas when the latter scared the former while she was walking through Inkopolis, and she ran away from him out of fear that he saw her eye. However, the two became friends after getting to know each other.
- For Science!: Alex Brooks' main purpose for wanting to capture is to try her for study even if it may involve terrorism, vandalism, or anything.
- One-Hit Kill: How Dr. Stone kills Dr. Vinsley.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Despite only appearing in the opening scene of the first episode, Dr. Stone's actions are what led to Iris escaping from the lab where she was experimented on, and also leading to Alex Brooks knowing about her existence and wanting to capture her.
