It just has yet to happen. It's stated that only sorrow awaits Binky once he gets to the top of the treehouse, which presumably only happens when everybody else is dead. With nobody else, there would be no problems, and if there are no problems...

Someone in the comments in the "Treehouse Designer" video pointed out that the colorization of Binky's skin seemingly changes as he starts to morph into his monstrous self, possibly from skin decay. Perhaps the.. whatever this thing is actually had Binky as its first victim, and is simply using his body to blend in better with the rest of the Arthur universe.
