Santa knew all along that Albert and his friends wrote the insulting letter in the newspaper.
- How can Santa, who supposedly knows when all children have been naughty or nice, possibly not know who wrote the letter and think "All of us" meant the whole town of Junctionville? Maybe he did know, and just pretended to be mad at the whole town as a Secret Test of Character to teach Albert and his friends not to be such obnoxious know-it-alls. That would explain why he conveniently has presents for the whole town in his sleigh when he arrives after the musical clock plays its song.
