Väinämöinen came back when his country needed him again...in 1939, during the Winter War, under the cover identity Simo Häyhä.

This time he was around with an enchanted Mosin-Nagant rifle, striking fear into the Soviets' hearts who had dared to invade what had become of his beloved Kalevala. Old Simo in fact used magic, what means that the nickname "Magic Shooter" was meant in a literal way.
