The Party

• Val Backstory Theories (this is what happens when you have an amnesiac druid)
  • 1. Totally normal person caught in a magical accident, which gave her superpowers but was also so completely overwhelming that it wiped her memory
  • 2. Your classic programmable assassin a la Winter Soldier. Someone very powerful has misplaced her and might want her back, or her latent programming might kick in.
  • 3. Escaped magical experiment
  • 4. Some kind of big deal public figure hit by a magical attack that wiped her memory and also knocked her brains around real hard
  • 5. Val was originally a squirrel, true-polymorphed into a human by a powerful wizard for mysterious purposes, but the wizard lost her
  • 6. Val did not exist before the moment of her awakening. She was created by Seth for motives unknown.
  • 7. Alternate to #5, Val is an awakened squirrel who became a druid and learned to shapeshift into a human.

  • 8. Val is the reincarnation of a dead hero
  • 9. Val was a member of the Dragon Skulls, who were hunted down. The bounty hunter (not Morgan, since Morgan prefers to kill people) hit her too hard on the head and she lost her memory.
  • 10. Val is the daughter of one of the leaders of strange things happening and an opposing faction tried to kidnap her
    • Either the separatists or the commies
  • 11. Val is that girl from that one romcom who continually forgets who she is
    • She's apparently actually Cass, Rowan's childhood friend and lover, so this one is slightly true
  • 12. Val was possessed by a smoke monster, but she managed to fight it off after a year. As it left, it took her memories with it.
• The smoke/shadow monster (if it really was that) that killed Morgan's family and took her eye wasn't really a monster, but a physical manifestation of Seth. We saw Seth as a smoke/shadow monster in TGH 1.
  • Could also be Vecna pretending to be Seth. The missing eye is part of Vecna's true appearance.
    • If it's Vecna, Morgan's hand is also going to go missing (and get replaced by Vecna if she fulfills their commands).
• Morgan is actually a reincarnated version of Vecna whose evilness is catching up to them.
• Clem is everyone. Everyone is Clem.

The World

• Caspian is getting trained to be the kingdom's next spymaster. Clearly this requires being a pop music star first before you get access to the jester budget.
• The thing turning shifters into raging monsters is related to the smoke demon monster Morgan and Riley have encountered.
• Vecna found a mortal body.
• Eury is going to be resurrected and everything will be sunshine and rainbows again. No more depressing character deaths please.
• Skalya is connected to the Grey Scarves, who are also connected to the drow priest who hired Morgan, so in a weird sense Skalya hired Morgan to kill her own mother.
• Skalya is possessed by an intelligent shadow monster that's using her to get information and control the other ones. The monster wanted a succubus to possess for disguise purposes.
• The smoke monsters were created by people firing Vecnium bullets. The bullets kill the target and turn them into the monsters. We know that there were 4 bullets made, and Cass has one of them. If this theory is true, there are between one and three smoke monsters.
  • The smoke monster that attacked Morgan's village is either her father (Oliver) or her birth mother. A case can be made for either of them depending on how smart the smoke monsters are.
    • If Morgan's mother, then Morgan was the only one spared because she's her mother's daughter.
    • If Morgan's father, then Morgan was spared for the same reason, and her brother wasn't because he's not biologically related to Morgan (Arthur was technically Morgan's step-brother).
• Eury had visions and saw everyone in the party in a vision. This is why Lady Colandra (or someone connected to her) chose us for whatever her plans are.
  • Possible evidence is that Eury thought she had seen Lenna and Riley at a party together, despite neither character ever having met and Riley being in Lady Colandra's custody at that point.
• Someone or something is manipulating Lady Colandra, and is holding some key to Eury's resurrection hostage.
• The party was chosen by Colandra or Ankarion because of their connections to vecnium in some way, shape, or form
  • Lenna's mother died to vecnium-induced lung disease, and she was also the only one present at Eury's death.
  • Morgan's biological parents worked with Mechi to make the 4 vecnium bullets.
  • Clem is in the Labyrinth a lot and currently has a vecnium dagger. He's possibly been exposed to other vecnium artifacts before.
  • Who the fuck knows what happened to Cass.
  • This theory currently falls apart when you get to Rowan and Riley, though there could be something we don't know yet.
• Morgan's birth mother was a cleric or warlock of Vecna.
• The Party members are avatars of gods

• The grey scarf group is actually the ghosts of dead workers, come back to take revenge

• The robots checked out Lenna because they are actually powered by the consciousness of mortal creatures, and that robot currently had Jaz's consciousness in it.
