The 2019 movie was what the Five Nights at Freddy's movie became.
After Warner Bros. eventually sold the rights to the film to Blumhouse Productions, Blumhouse has since lost the rights to use the FNAF IP and had to find another one. Thus, they got the rights to the Banana Splits IP and decided to remake the movie around them instead.- This could also be why Scott turned down/wasn't satisfied with the script Warner Bros made alongside other issues.

Poppy is seen driving of with the corpses of the Splits while laughing, while Fleegle re-activates. Seems to be hinting at a sequel.Or, if Warner Bros. wants to take the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 path, there will be a prequel explaining the origins of Karl and the Banana Splits.
Alternatively, Poppy will become the Jason Voorhees to Snorky's Tommy Jarvis
Leading to other expies of slasher monsters for Snorky to fight against. Guesses can be added here:- A demon who enters video game worlds will be a digital expy of Freddy Krueger.
- A grim reaper-themed animatronic will be a robotic expy of Ghostface.
- The still-evil Banana Splits will become robotic expies of the Sawyer Family with a new chef animatronic serving as the robotic Leatherface expy.
- Some dangerous comic book nerd with voices in his head who's also cursed by a cult will be a Michael Myers expy with the main difference being that his kills will be related to comic book characters in some way.
Poppy will become the Banana Splits' version of Roy Burns.
In that she's a copy-cat killer that, even though she's weaker than her predecessors (Jason being stronger than Roy and the Splits being stronger than Poppy), she still replicates her predecessors' murder methods, and she does this to avenge a loved one (Roy tries to avenge his son, while Poppy tries to avenge her fiancé). Poppy and the still-evil Banana Splits will fight each other in an Evil vs. Evil kind of way, and Snorky will become the Tommy Jarvis of this series.
