A Shoggoth appears at the end of The Woods Are Dark
There's no real description of its appearance and it surfaces right when the plot reaches its end, much like any Eldritch Abomination from Lovecraft's works. None of the characters understand it and refuse to even try.

Jack the Ripper is Cursed
Jack the Ripper real name Roderick Whittle is actually an immortal who must walk the earth, enduring the harshest kinds of punishment. Whenever it seems like he's been killed, he just reforms, adopts a new identity and continues on his way. His violent tendencies are a result of the trauma he's suffered over the centuries.

This ultimately leads to Jack becoming almost every single Laymon villain.

Amara was Resurrected via the Face of Ram-Chotep
The corpses in Resurrection Dreams are all revived through Egyptian sorcery, have been shown to survive fatal injuries and love biting people. Since Amara is a mummy, it's possible that she was brought back in the same way, only to be entombed and left to rot. This wasn't enough to kill her and she goes on a rampage.Amara even gives us a description of the titular mummy. From what we're told, she wasn't dissected or embalmed like a typical mummy and she has a sewn-up wound in her abdomen, just like Ram-Chotep's resurrected.

The Creatures From Flesh are the Bigger Bads of the Laymon Universe
People who are possessed by the flesh-creatures look and act exactly like any other person, but they enjoy killing and raping. Since the antagonists all try to rape and/or murder everyone they come across, it's possible that they've all been possessed. The stories never do show the villains getting autopsies, so there's no way of knowing if they've been hosting some mind-raping monster.
