OVA predictions

• Proof of Justice will turn out to be the surprise twist that deviates from the game's story that was teased by Masashi Ishihama, and be an Alternate Continuity from Stars and Ours. Ren will find out that Akechi survived and he'll offer to let him rejoin. The OVA will cover the fight with Shadow Shido, or at least the aftermath of Shido's Palace, and the final dungeon from Akechi's perspective.
  • Jossed. The episode expands on Akechi's backstory and interactions with Ren, and Akechi himself doesn't appear in present. Although it's worth noting that the information revealed, especially in regards to the reason why Akechi became an "ally of justice", was never seen in the base game.
• A Magical Valentines Day is a Filler episode to ensure Volume 12 matches the 2-episode format of the other DVD and Blu-Ray volumes.

• Valentines will have a new credits song, themed about unfaithfulness and infidelity.
  • Jossed. It's the girls walking away while the final dungeon/bad ending theme plays, similar to the credits of Episode 26.

Mystery date speculation

A Magical Valentines Day involves Ren dating all of the romanceable Confidants and Ryuji, but a date with a mystery character at an Opera House has also been revealed. Said mystery character is likely either going to end up being Akechi^Note The most obvious choice other than Lavenza, especially given how much focus and character development with Ren he's received, Lavenza^Note Since she is on the cover of Volume 12, and her two halves Caroline and Justine have a crush on Ren in the game. There's also the fact that the Velvet Room attendants have been romance options in previous games or Kasumi^Note Unlikely, but given recent information such as her Persona being Cendrillon, it's not out of the question. It could potentially serve as a build up for an animated adaptation of Royal.
