WMG / Nexo Knights

Go To

This is one of the 16 realms
Seems kinda obvious to me, what with it being the replacement for Legends of Chima and that being confirmed to be one of the realms. Maybe a three-way crossover could happen?
  • Jossed; Tommy Andreasen, co-creator of Nexo Knights, has repeatedly stated that Knighton is NOT one of the Sixteen Realms.

Half the cast aren't from the same world the show is set in
Hence the futuristic technology despite clearly being medieval times; they merely came to this world/traveled back in time for whatever reason.
  • More likely that the series takes place in the same universe as Ninjago. I wouldn't be surprised if they did a crossover.
  • Jossed; no time/dimensional travel is involved.

Jestro will pull a Heel–Face Turn at or near the end of the first season
Jestro is more Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds than capital "E" Evil, and he is obviously being used by the Book of Monsters to further its own ends. At some point Jestro will choose to side with Clay and redeem himself.
  • Semi-confirmed, he turns good in the second season.

The Book Of Monsters will attempt to betray Jestro
And possibly fail due to Jestro having become more evil than it.
  • Jossed; the book has to repeatedly turn Jestro back to evil and eventually decides to use him (and then later Clay) as sacrifices to become alive once more.

The Book Of Monsters is a Horcrux
It has yellow-red, reptilian eyes, features possessed by Sauron and Voldemort. It also has a rather parasitic relationship with Jestro while claiming to bring him power.
  • Jossed, it's a necromancer who was turned into a living book.

The Book of Monsters is actually a reincarnated Monstrox, or at least a part of him.
The Book of Monsters clearly holds Monstrox in high respect, and in the official, physical Book of Monsters released by Lego, the Book of Monsters mentions that Merlok "knows who he really is". Also, when mentioning Monstrox in the book, the Book acts very secretive and elusive about him, stating he's 'very close', that he could 'unleash [Monstrox] anytime', etc.
  • Confirmed.

Monstrux will replace Jestro as the villain of the series.
As stated above, Jestro is too nice a person to be truly evil, and all this talk of Monstrux makes him sound like he would be a more legitimate threat than Jestro. Therefore, it's quite likely that The Book Of Monsters is just using Jestro to bring Monstrux back, and will betray him once Monstrux comes into the picture. From there, that will be the catalyst to bring Jestro back to the side of good.
  • Confirmed.

The Book of Betrayal was at least partially responsible for the monsters'
Heel–Face Turn.Everyone who held it had done something...let's say "unpredictable": Jokes Knightly started stealing his colleagues' jokes, Jestro ran away from the Book of Monsters and handed the Book of Betrayal to Clay, Clay disobeyed his friends and tried to trade Jestro for it...Now, who else was seen holding it? Magmar, the same guy who leads the monsters in Season 3. While Burnzie and Sparkks claim they turned good after a Heel Realization, it's possible that they needed some reassurance for it to stick, and Magmar gave them that reassurance due to the book subliminally telling him to cut ties with Monstrox.

General Magmar is a high-ranking Flame Thrower.
I mean, they look pretty similar: shirtless but with pants, weird haircut, even their face prints are somewhat similar.

Robin's father is dead.
We never see him, he's only mentioned in-universe a total of one time, and it's not even in the series, most mentions of him both in and out of universe are in the past tense...At this point, the real question isn't if Robin's father is dead, but rather since when and why.
