Someday, the show will be revived and be given the Friendship is Magic treatment.
Basically, the show gets handed off to a new company (I'd really like to see what Guru Studio could do with this), and they're told to fix it. By "fix it", I mean make it less cutesy, have better animation, and better, less anvilicious morals. The Little Clowns are aliens.
They're from the planet “Happytown” and came to Earth to spread joy and happiness around. As for the Clownimals, they're Alien Animals. That would explain why their faces naturally have clown makeup. Geek and Whiner are orphans
Geek may have been raised by his grandma until she died and eventually he and Whiner were hired by Awful Bebad who promised them a home if they helped him "gloom" the world.
Geek may have had a redemption arc if the status quo wasn't God.
And Blooper would have been the reason for his redemption. Like Fluttershy and Discord or Twilight and Starlight Glimmer.
