The LEGO designers accidentally mixed up the head/torso combinations of Mission Deep Freeze

One of the greatest complaints about Mission Deep Freeze is that Crunch and Cam have disappeared, replaced by Arrow and Diamond Tooth, and much of the remaining cast is virtually unrecognizable. While Radia and Dash aren't too bad, it's particularly erroneous with Flex, who lost his signature smile, and Charge, who is completely unrecognizable and has the wrong color sleeve.

However, as shown here◊, when you rearrange the heads in relation to their torsos, the result bears great semblance to the original Alpha Team. Flex's head with Diamond Tooth's body forms someone who looks a lot like Crunch; Diamond Tooth's head with Dash Justice's body forms someone who looks a lot like Charge; and Charge's head with Flex's body forms someone who looks a lot like Flex. Here◊ is a comparison between the "first wave" Crunch and Charge versus the "rearranged" Crunch and Charge, and you can see much greater similarities present here than in the original Mission Deep Freeze sets.

Although, there is no head-swapping required for Radia (who is already wearing the right hat and sleeve color in the original sets), and the character resulting from Arrow's head and Charge's body still does not look like Cam. However, the uncanny similarities found in the "rearranged" Crunch, Charge, and Flex does make one wonder if, somewhere during development, the head/torso combinations of the Alpha Team agents got mixed up, and nobody bothered to rectify it.
