The other treasure chests contain different animal suits.

Any of the treasure chests contains an animal suit with their own set of abilities or just about the same.

The novels are in-universe propaganda for the Otherworldly Girlboss Bear of Darkness

  • We know that Yuna has written picture books. We know that she has a platform, connections, and money. We also know that she employs many, many children in her enterprises. In the books proper, her narration justifies this by it just being the way this world works...but do we know that for sure? Yuna made her money in her homeworld by exploiting the stock market. She has the mind of a ruthless businesswoman.
  • How weird, that Yuna keeps collecting powerful friends that allow her to gain impossible amounts of political influence. Lords and Kings and Guildmasters are always doing her favors. And oh, peasants: take a look at the books she's written for you. See? She had her doubts about Lord Cliff, but he turned out to be a nice guy. All of the noble class are Very Nice People.
    • Or are they?! No, you are not immune to Bearaganda! The Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear books are the equivalent of Horatio Alger novels: they convince the public that they, too, can escape their medieval capitalist nightmare with hard work and gumption while covering up the massive labor abuses committed by a certain sneaky bear from another world!
