Jojo's hometown will become part of East Germany
Since both American and Soviet soldiers are shown fighting alongside each other, his hometown will be on the border of the initial Soviet and American occupation zone (he's clearly not in Berlin too). Even if the town ultimately went to the west initially, it means that it'll be given to the Soviets in exchange for West Berlin
◊. The only exception to this if his town was in Austria the whole time. If his town was on the Mecklenburg/Schleswig-Holstein border, then it'll be split in two as per the map.This would make for a funny/tragic situation later on if Jojo becomes a fanatic Communist or has a child that imagines the GDR leaders as friends the same way he imagined Hitler. Provided he doesn't defect to the west of course.
- Alternately, with no family keeping him in his hometown (Elsa presumably emigrating to Israel or America), Jojo drifts to West Berlin, Wolfsburg, or one of the other places that attracted people displaced from points east while Yorki stays behind with family leading to a tearful reunion in late 1989.
Yorkie will be a German Forrest Gump
He clearly has the luck of a Gump given how he goes through the last stand against the allies with nothing but soot on his face. Regardless of which side of the split their town sits, by the time of the Reunification Yorkie will somehow accidentally into the Chancellorship.
