In this universe, there are multiple versions of Legacy Character like Link and Zelda.
The link we know is the Link that appeared in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, but not the Link from such games as Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, in fact, he is barelly aware of the events of those games, which leads to... Link is dating Sheik, unaware he is actually Zelda.
Specifically, Sheik is Ocarina of Time Zelda, who feel in love with this Link(actual love, not just a crush like Daisy) and, knowing he is gay, assumed her male alter ego to be able to get closer to him. Assuming the above is true, Zelda will eventually reveal herself to Link, possibly leading to a If It's You, It's Okay situation.
Title self-explanatory, though I think it might be too heavy for the light comedy comic like this, I'd like to see it happening, at very least, it would be a good Character Development for Link.
