The entire story is Chin's heroin delirium.
This is why the story is so stupid and meaningless. He is just a junky who blames mainland China for his ruined life, but he gets a crazy idea that he is Bruce Lee's relative and fights ugly reds. In reality, he just walks around and beats up innocent people, until he gets shot by a policeman.
