WMG / Harry Potter and the Boiling Isles

Go To

The two human wizards who once visited the Boiling Isles were Dumbledore and Grindelwald.
  • The Bat Queen states that they visited a century ago, which lines up with their lifespan.
  • Luz notes that above the entrance to the Bat Queen's cave, someone has carved an odd symbol, "rather like a triangular eye". That's almost verbatim how the crest of the Deathly Hallows was described when Harry first sees it in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and we all know who went on to use that crest as his own symbol

Cat was a Clawthorne.
  • Cat was a palisman carver and we know the Clawthornes are famous for their expertise in the craft.
  • While at the graves of earlier Clawthornes, Eda mentions a great-great-grandaunt named "Catelyn".

No-name was Phillip's Palisman.
  • Aside from her age and apparent history with Flapjack, what we hear of her side of the conversation with him has her dismissing a witch he defends as a "devil", and we know that her witch never cared enough about her to even give her a name before tossing her aside. It's possible that the "devil" is Evelyn, and that Phillip made No-name as a means of studying magic only to toss her aside when he didn't need her anymore, at some point before he started feeding on Palismen to sustain himself.

The Witch King was a Golden Guard who went rogue.
  • He could also be a fake Ultimate Enemy created by Belos to gain political power in the Boiling Isles in order to implement his plans for the Coven System that prohibits any form of wild magic.
