The area in which the town is situated is a prison for the shapeshifters.
  • That area is meant to keep those creatures from escaping and ravaging the planet like any invasive species, as for the town and its people their ancestors were probably just unfortunate enough to wind up stuck there too.
    • Fun theory but doubtful, they seem to perform a purpose in the place likely part of whatever entity is in charge's goal of simply endangering and torturing humans who end up there.

The Boy in White only appears to people on the autistic spectrum.
  • Victor, Ethan, Sara and Eljin have personally seen The Boy in White and they have all shown autistic traits.

The Creatures used to be people, possibly former residents.
  • All the creatures have been shown wearing clothes from around the 1960's, they may have been residents of the area before it became what it is now.

Victor already knows how to escape and has done so at least once.
  • Victor possibly found a way out not too long ago but felt like he didn't belong in the real world so he went back into the forest somehow. Either this exit no longer works or he's convinced that horrible things will happen if he tells anyone about it.

The voices telling Sara to kill belonged to the entity behind the dungeons and Cicadas
  • The voices were able to make a message form on Sara's arms similar to the way the blood worms moved inside Boyd
    • Unlikely, since that entity appears to have been imprisoned before Boyd accidentally brought it back to town at the start of season 2.

Eljin is Ellis and Fatima's baby
  • I didn't come up with this one, a bunch of other fans did in one of the From Facebook groups. Basically time travel is involved and a grown up Eljin somehow went back to meet his parents before he was born but has no memory of his past.

Victor is a powerful psychic and much of what's gone wrong in this place is because of him
  • Victor is like Rimmer in that episode of Red Dwarf where he and Kryten crash on a "psy-moon" and the environment modelled itself after his psyche. Victor is influencing the place but has no control over it because it's all based on his sub-concious and mental state.

Tabitha hasn't reached the real world
  • Tabitha isn't out of the place yet, she's in another part of it, possibly a place where other people are doing unethical experiments on the people trapped in the town and forest or spooky cult stuff.

Jim is right and the voice he heard on the radio belongs to someone doing experiments on the people there
  • The way the voice said "hello" at first as if expecting a message from someone else hints that there are actual people observing what's going on.

Victor's sister is still alive
  • He never said anything about finding her body after she ran after their mother the night the latter died. Maybe she made it into the lighthouse and got sent back to the real world, in which case it's likely that in Season 3 Tabitha will cross paths with her as she tries to find a way back to the town.
