- Jossed. The wand is a fake, and Jacob does not perform magic at all. The reason the Hogwarts students are interested in it is because it's made of snakewood, which is a very rare wood when it comes to wands.
- In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot, Jacob is standing holding the wand loosely at his side, when his arm suddenly jerks upward to full extension towards the ceiling, and he gives an audible grunt of surprise. More evidence that either the wand is in control, or someone else is faking the scene to convince others that Jacob has magic now.
- The scene was faked by Lalie to keep Jacob's Muggle nature hidden, as well as cause a distraction.
- Pregnant with, or caring for, her and Newt's child. This is the most obvious one. Several years have passed since the events of The Crimes of Grindelwald, and canon dictates Newt and Tina eventually have at least one child. If this is the case, she will likely make a short appearance with said child at some point in the movie.

- Either told to stay back by or refused to go with Dumbledore because of Queenie being on the other side. Dumbledore would likely be really sensitive about forcing Tina to fight her own sister each other due to his own past. Alternatively, Tina may just not want to do it.

- On a separate assignment from either the Ministry of Magic or MACUSA. Obviously, Dumbledore's work is separate from, if not completely independent of, the Ministry. Maybe the presence of an Auror might complicate matters (which would beg the question of what Theseus was doing there, but there's a decent chance he might have bailed on MACUSA after the debacle in Paris.)
- Pretty Much, it's stated that Tina has been promoted to the head of the American Auror office, which is why she wasn't chosen for Dumbledore's little team. She appears briefly watching the confrontation with Grindelwald over the magical livestream thing, and then appears in the epilogue attending Queenie and Jacob's wedding.
- She and Newt fell out/split up again. Newt's mental state after losing Leta (possibly after a Dying Declaration of Love at that) was probably... not awesome. And Tina is painfully aware that Leta was Newt's first love no matter how things ended up and that's already caused a fracture in their relationship once.
- Alternatively, they fell out over Newt not wanting Tina to endanger herself. His being paranoid about any more loved ones being too close to the line of fire would be understandable on one level.
- Thankfully Jossed, as stated above, Tina is just busy running the American Auror Office, both times she appears in the film she is clearly still in love with Newt, who now carries her photo with him.
- She's present but disguised as Bunty. Bunty was a pretty minor character in the last movie, but quite prominent in the trailers for this one. A fan theory has sprung up that she's actually Tina, who is using Polyjuice Potion to hide her true identity.

- They're seen together a lot in the trailer and even have a very obvious Back-to-Back Badasses scene. From what little we know about Eulalie she has a lot of the qualities that probably attracted Theseus to Leta - strong-willed, clever, capable.
- It has been several years in-universe since Leta died, so Theseus could well be ready for a new romance.
- Recent glimpse has them fight seemingly quite easily and without any of the previous signs of the blood pact stopping Dumbledore. In fact, it even shows the vial unwrapping itself from Dumbledore as he intercepts a spell from Grindelwald, seemingly indicating that Dumbledore was using a loophole by not attacking but simply defending, eventually breaking the pact and letting them fight each other completely.
- Confirmed When Grindelwald attempts to kill Credence and Dumbledore tries to protect him, it breaks the Blood Oath.
The end of the The Secrets of Dumbledore felt more like the end of a first chapter, or at least first volume, than a complete and full resolution to the greater story. Yes, Jacob and Queenie are getting hitched, and Newt and Tina are renewing their relationship, but Grindelwald is still free, the retrospective foreshadowing from the Harry Potter books has not been negated, and events in the greater Muggle World seem about to cast the conflict in an even greater, more desperate light.
- It's already confirmed that there are gonna be two more films. Assuming this one makes enough money, that is.
As book readers know, Luna canonically marries the grandson of Newt and Tina, it is possible that the 5th and final film will end with an epilogue set in the present perhaps framing the entire series as Newt telling his great grand kids about the role he had in helping defeat Grindelwald, perhaps even including a joking rivalry with Luna, who is telling her children about her own role in the Voldemort war. Marketing in this film prominently included Hogwarts and shots of older Dumbledore from the Harry Potter films to play on the nostalgia of fans of the old films so including Luna in a narratively sound way makes sense.
Because we all want to see the legendary duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. WWII is winding down. Would Jacob join/get drafted? It would be interesting if at this point he and Queenie had a son by this point. (The famous Quentin Kowalski would more likely be a grandson given how relatively recent his birth would be.) Perhaps he just turned 11 and got an invitation to Ilvermorny, if being half-blood isn't a problem. Between half-bloods not exactly being legal in America and everything else going on, the Kowalskis might decide their son is better off at Hogwarts...where he meets a senior named Tom Riddle.
- This would allow the producers to write out Credence, given that he probably wouldn't survive that long, with Ezra Miller's recent issues.
In the fourth book, Skrewts are claimed to be "highly dangerous crosses between manticores and fire-crabs". However, this statement was made in an article by Rita Skeeter, and like pretty much anything she writes, should probably be taken with a grain of salt. Moreover, manticores are consistently described in Harry Potter canon as resembling the classic mythological version, with a human face and a lion's body. The only thing that the creature Newt saw has in common with them is the scorpion-like stinger. It does, however, have a great deal in common with the Skrewts, such as its armored body and its ability to shoot fire from its tail. If what Skeeter wrote about the Skrewts isn't true, and they instead represented a genuine undiscovered magical creature, then Newt would obviously have no idea what they were. He might have identified them as manticores simply because that was the closest creature he could think of to what he was seeing.
- The only problem with this theory is that, at no point in the series does Hagrid deny having bred the Skrewts himself, nor do any of the characters, not Harry, not Hermione, not Ron, not even Dumbledore, raise the possibility that Skeeter was lying about that. Plus, Skeeter does include some truths and half-truths in her writing, usually by also spinning or missing context to paint the target of her writing in a bad light. It also should be mentioned that what we see in the film isn't necessarily what the characters see in-universe; for example, in the previous film, the Protego Diabolica that Grindelwald uses near the end, canonically, conjures black flames, but the film shows blue flames. So we, the audience, see this odd creature that looks nothing like a typical manticore, but they, the characters, might see a 'proper' manticore. Film and canon don't always mesh.
- Voldemort/Wormtail had a master-slave relationship, Dumbledore/Grindelward were lovers (at the time of that spell still harmoniously) so there was no master/servant relationship there. Also one is literally offering a part of your body, the other is carrying a tiny amount of fluid around in an object. So the two spells are probably related, but not the same.
