The series takes place After the End
There is no sign of planet earth, the only indication of earth's existence is the planet resembling it. This could mean that humanity was doomed a long time ago and earth was destroyed. Indrikis roams the universe to solve conflicts, but he could also be a robot specifically designed by humans to help and discover other humans. He roams the universe in search of them, and Receklite was created as a failsafe in case Indrikis fails or breaks.
