Jung knew it would take thousands of years for Noriko and Kazumi to return. After the fleet returned as Earth was turtling up and creating the space defenses, she saw to it that a desire to meet Noriko was programmed into Buster Machine #7, in order to fulfill the promise of welcoming them back.
