"Dear Love" "Face to Face" and "Sorry For It All" are three parts of a story about a relationship falling apart

"Dear Love" is Emily staying with a lover and talking about her boyfriend (who she's cheating on), even though she repeatedly calls for her love to lay down (beside her cold, shaking body) she beats herself up about the infidelity ("so I run away to you / with every moment away, the shorter my stay" because "he was a good man". Then in "Face To Face" she comes...face to face with her boyfriend who is suspicious about her and "says [she's] lying" and "trying too hard for love and his affection" and then she finally reveals that "it's nice to know you love me, I'm in love with someone else". "Sorry For It All" is her coming to terms with the relationship with her ex-boyfriend and she realizes that "nothing is my fault" even as he apologizes and she says "nothing to you".
