The returning antagonist in Season 8 will be Adam from Season 6
Jon said that the villian in Season 8 will be a returning villain and is described by Jon as "the most despicable villain in the series". To add to it, Khail Anonymous, the voice of Adam, has a TBA voice acting part in Season 8. Arbiter and Chief are split personalities of Jon (the character)
It explains why Jon is never home, why Arbiter has nostalgia for games that came out over a decade before he even existed, and why the seemingly plastic toys are capable of bodily functions such as eating, excreting waste, and masturbating. It's now been established that the hacker group antagonists of season 6 are working for a mysterious someone to bring down the entire network rather than just getting rid of TOSERS. This mysterious someone is probably Trent Donnovich, the game developer CEO who served as the primary antagonist of season 5. Not only would he - as an FPS-developer - benefit from people not being able to play Halo online; it's also possible that he knows that Claire (who would have married him had the toys not intervened) has joined TOSERS and that he still holds a grudge towards her for dumping him at the altar. Besides, whoever the hackers are working for, it seems to be someone with a lot of money and influence, and there's really only one such character still alive in the series, so... He hasn't been seen so far in the current season, but one of his stick notes was seen in a recent hyper news episode and the name of Episode 13 of Season 6 is named the Reunion.- Jossed, but he does return.
The two gamer girls from Episode 11 of Season 6 will be Chekov's gunmen
In that Episode, Kylie is seen scouting for prey, and comes across two gamer girls. She overhears them talking about how they're going to miss Halo and how they hope that Chaos Theosis will be stopped before Kylie turns away. Jon introduces characters that aren't core characters usually for for one of two reasons, for a satire of the XBL community, or because they're Chekov's gunmen, of which we have seen three this season alone (Kevin, Silent Strike and Adam's "friend"). My guess is that when Arby and Chief eventually face off against Kylie, they will be in the same game as the two of them. The gamer girls will most likely overhear that Kylie is a member of Chaos Theosis and jump into the fight against her. No doubt she will demand to know why they are helping Arby and Chief, despite the intolerance against gamer girls on XBL. Cue "No More Holding Back" Speech.The Same thing that made Ted real is the same thing that made The toys real.
In the movie TED, the toy becomes real when John wishes for the toy to be real, somewhere else the Halo 2 era toys suffered the same fate when a lonely and delusional security guard or someone else that would be watching any toy area wished for them to become real (mumbling for world domination in the same process) He still works to this very day.The one moment where Arbiter finds out Master Chief killed Cortana will cause him to snap all over again and ruin their friendship.
With the realization that Cortana 'ran away' from them, along with Greg's decision to run away due to being unable to live with himself for keeping Master Chief's crime a secret, drove Arbiter to depression and ultimately a dark path. In that darkness, he decided to throw away all depression and guilt, especially after cementing the end of his friendship with Claire, and fully embraced Eugene's clan and the fragban software. This prompts a boosted relationship between him and Chief. But if something happens that causes Chief to slip up and unintentionally confess—or becomes so haunted by the visions of Cortana that he has no choice but to let out his guilt—it will ultimately cause the unavoidable rift between Arbiter and Chief.Eugene is not dead.
All we know about Eugene's death is that we heard a gunshot from the microphone. He may be attempting to fool the figures and catch them off guard. Perhaps the very gun that made that gunshot made the bullet holes in Jon's door?- Jossed. Tyler tells Arbiter he went to Eugene's house and found him dead. Plus the bullet holes are from a police officer firing at Tyler.
Season 8 is going to get incredibly meta and it will end with Arbiter and Chief realizing that they and all the people they've interacted with are characters in a webseries.
The USB drive with the antagonists of the series on it as files supports this. Adam is doing what he's doing because he himself has had this realization, and has decided that since his actions don't matter because he's a character in a fictional webseries, he can do whatever he wants with no consequence. In a twist, the ultimate villain of the series will turn out to be Jon CJG himself. His body will mysteriously disappear in the next episode and later it will be revealed he simply got up and walked away because he was just pretending to be dead.
