Ridley will be added in as a boss
With the justification being he's there with the space pirates trying to gather Metroids.- Nope. No sign of the Space Pirates in the game, let alone Ridley.

The DMCA takedown wasn't by Nintendo
There's word going around that the takedown notices were issued by a guy who, not only wasn't associated with Nintendo's Legal Team, but wasn't even a lawyer.He was a tester of some sort (this user forgets) for the Wii U.
- Jossed, unfortunately. The Metroid Database is aware of the false DMCA takedown notices, so when they received one for AM2R, they made sure to investigate and ultimately determined that the DMCA was legitimate.
