WMG / About Scout

Scout had an older sister named Rumer who died young, possibly before she was born.

It's stated that Scout and Lulu (Tallulah) were named after Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughters. But why would their parents skip over the oldest? Maybe they didn't. If Rumer died early enough that Scout doesn't really remember her, it would explain why she never mentions her to Sam.
