Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: On the "Friends" menu on the main screen, there are forty different black squares, each of which have the Zodiac symbol of a different troll you can befriend, with the description saying "Befriend [X]." After you complete that troll's route and get their good ending, their square is replaced by a snippet of their victory screen, with the description being replaced by what you did on that route to earn their friendship. There are, however, a couple of notable exceptions:
** Most of the trolls have one box and one "good ending". Chixie and Lanque, however, each have two different endings that count as victories (though, in both cases, one of the two endings is clearly more "good" than the other), and you must get both of them for the game to consider them both properly befriended.
** Marvus has two boxes for you to fill in: one for getting his good route and befriending him as per usual, and another for choosing the option offered partway through this good route [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext to sniff his armpits when you get the chance]].
** Unlike with every other character, the screenshot for [[spoiler:Karako's]] box is from his bad route instead of his good one. This does make some degree of sense [[spoiler:since said route involves both of you dying and [[TogetherInDeath being friends in the afterlife]]]], but since he does also have a good route with a victory screen, it's a notable deviation.
** The last box is labelled "Befriend Everyone", but even after you've completed all 18 volumes, it doesn't fill in. Instead, it's achieved by [[spoiler:visiting Doc Scratch in the epilogue, whom you most certainly do ''not'' befriend, and in fact, he takes away the Reader's drive for friendship and causes them to start to lose their memories of the rest of the friends they've already made]].

Since the trope was changed, these are now straight examples instead of aversions.

** Heavily implied aversion in one of Tirona's bad routes where, after [[spoiler: the Reader activates a booby trap connected to Tegiri's office door, Tirona presumably gets impaled or slashed by a katana and dies]]. If the look of horror on the Reader's face in the bad end screen is anything to go by.
** A very frightening aversion of this occurs on [[spoiler:Karako's]] bad routes; in the first one, [[spoiler:the Reader runs away from a drone and accidentally leaves him behind, then can't find him afterwards, heavily implying that the drone carried him away for culling]], and in the second one, [[spoiler:Karako angrily attacks some violetbloods after they make fun of him and the Reader, only for them to fight back, killing him]]. And he's implied to be the ''youngest'' troll in the Troll Call.

** Tagora , an AmbulanceChaser who's OnlyInItForTheMoney, clearly doesn't care about the Reader at first and is just hoping to make a quick buck off of them after they tell him they're rich[[labelnote:*]] (especially since, as he alludes to on his bad route, the KangarooCourt system of Alternia means that the Reader would have lost their lawsuit case regardless)[[/labelnote]]. However, a combination of being grateful to them for helping his social life, impressed by their lying skills, and possibly attracted to them after they borrow his Rainbow Drinker body wash has him decide to forego treating them as a client in favor of making them an "associate" (i.e. befriending them).
