Vs Torture is an in-production Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod created by Elirix and TeiCleM, and a crossover with the flash animation series Madness Combat. After the Boyfriend somehow finds his way to Nevada again, this time without the Girlfriend in tow, he manages to stumble into an AAHW facility where he is immediately met by the agents, engineers and grunts inside. However, after a grunt's skull gets caved in by a giant microphone, loud stomping is heard, and all of a sudden, the gigantic Mag Agent: Torture arrives! Armed with his giant Mossberg 500, Torture's got a 20 kilogram slug with your name on it, so you'd better be careful...

When released, the mod will be available on Gamebanana.

Songs:

  1. "Agency"
  2. "Consternation"
  3. An as of yet unannounced third song.

This game provides examples of:

  • BFG: Mag Agent: Torture's signature gigantic Mossberg 500 shotgun.
  • The Cameo: Like in The Tricky Mod, the main menu shows off different characters. Aside from Boyfriend and Torture, who are reused from the Tricky Mod, possible characters, that can appear on the menu are a Retainer, Mag Agent V2, Hank (In his appearance from "Antipathy"), 2BDamned, Project Gestalt and Scrapeface, to name a few. Unlike in the Tricky mod, only Hank gets his own menu theme, while the rest use Torture's menu theme from the Tricky mod, with Boyfriend being the sole exception.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Throughout "Consternation", Torture will use his signature shotgun to try and shoot Boyfriend. Flaming warning signs will appear to warn the player when Torture is about to shoot, and if the player misses these notes, then Boyfriend will instantly get killed, regardless of how much health he has. Unsurprisingly, getting shot at point-blank by a MAG-sized Mossberg 500 will do that to you.
  • Fearless Fool: As in the main game, the Boyfriend is completely unfazed by the fact that he's somehow managed to walk into a highly dangerous facility full of agents armed to the teeth, let alone the fact that he's facing a gigantic version of those agents easily capable of ripping him limb from limb without any effort at all. He doesn't even have Girlfriend and her demonic powers to help him; she's been replaced by Boombox Guy for this mod. This is downplayed, however, as Torture's arrival causes Boyfriend to sweat nervously for a moment.
  • Finger Gun: When he hasn't got his signature giant shotgun equipped, Torture's left and down poses have him aim one of these at Boyfriend.
  • Flipping the Bird: Torture's up pose takes a page from Demon Tricky by giving BF the finger in Agency.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • From what's been shown so far, quite a few of the background characters from the mod are quite prominent in the lore of Madness Combat; among them is the Boombox Guy, Hank's very first opponent in battle and arguably the one who set the entire series in motion.
    • "Consternation" plays a remix of "Giant" from "Incident 011A", a short which featured Torture at the main character.
  • No Kill like Overkill: The game over screen shows Torture's fist crushing Boyfriend shortly after the latter gets blue-balled.
  • Oh, Crap!: Boombox Guy and an agent's expression during "Consternation" when they see Torture wielding his shotgun. Boombox Guy merely raises an eyebrow in concern, while the agent looks considerably more terrified.
  • Shout-Out: Hank's menu theme references the "DaBaby" meme. He even does the pose associated with the meme.
  • Take That!: When the grunt that Boyfriend was originally challenging says "Tiky", Mag Agent: Torture throws his microphone at said grunt, caving its skull in.
  • Unexpectedly Realistic Gameplay: While Torture's weapon is predictably an instant kill when it hits point blank, a shotgun in general, especially a large one like his, is a medium range weapon. A point blank shot is both easily dodged and actually restores more health for Boyfriend than a normal note since it's so unwieldy for the space he's using it in.
