Ultimate Robotnik Duels is a Fighting Game in Adobe Flash by Maksim Solonovich released in 2006. You play as Dr. Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, another character from it, or even someone outside of it. The goal is defeating the other player in an Eggmobile by using a variety of weaponry.
This game provides examples of:
- Gameplay Automation: One of the options is having an AI vs. AI fight with no input needed from the player outside of choosing characters and the stage.
- Guest Fighter: Among the playable characters are Mario, Raiden, and a Mars Person (referred to in-game as "M.S. Alien").
- Mirror Match: It's possible to have a match between the same characters, who will look exactly the same.
- No Plot? No Problem!: No plot whatsoever. Just two characters fighting each other in Eggmobiles.
- Our Lawyers Advised This Trope: The screen at the beginning provides some standard information that the game is not official and all characters belong to their respective owners, but it also says the game is meant for educational purposes as well as non-commercial, which is quite ballsy to say when it has no educational material whatsoever.
- Spikes of Doom: Emerald Hill has spikes as a hazard.
- Wrap Around: Going to the left spawns the character on the right. That said, falling down a pit still counts as death.
