Go To

UNLOAD is an installment in the Continue/Stop/Rise series, not clearly signified as a direct sequel to Bx: Execute. Created in RPG Maker MV by M-256, the game has been in development hiatus since 2017. The story centers around a Ballman clone by the name of 81, and his quest to return home by any means possible. The most recent demo can be downloaded here.

UNLOAD contains examples of:

  • Ascended Extra: The protagonist, 81, has had no proper screentime prior to UNLOAD.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Throughout, but a few specific instances are:
    • Bakudan explains that he's able to get from place to place simply because the plot requires him to do so.
    • Panic in Ballville is still treated as a show within a show, despite the protagonist being from that fictional world. 81 doesn't question why there's merchandise of his boss and their enemy, but moreso who would even buy them.
  • Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Vastly different from the elemental weaknesses we remember from Bx: Execute.
    • Plastic beats Smoke.
    • Metal beats Plastic.
    • Meat beats Metal.
    • Smoke beats Meat.
    • Sugar has no weakness.
    • However, Pure and Cryptic are weak to each other, which is more reminiscent of Mutual Disadvantage.
  • Fighter, Mage, Thief: 81, Ylidomda, and Zinzo, respectively.
