The mod uses assets from a leaked alpha build of Battlefront III to recreate its maps, and features custom sidesnote inspired by (but not limited by) the cancelled game, and also features Battlefront III's defining feature of space-to-ground combat.
Currently, the mod includes Bespin, Cato Neimoidia, Coruscant, Dantooine, the Death Star II, Lucrehulk (Droid Battleship) interior, Sulonnote , Venator (Republic Star Destroyer) interior, Vjunnote , Desolation Station, and a demo map for Original Trilogy-era space battles. Hoth and Dathomir are also planned.
The sides are also playable on Battlefront II's default maps, and there are additional addons available that enables you to also play them on a variety of community-made maps.

This mod provides examples of:
- Adaptational Badass: The Rebel Fleet Commander, compared to most depictions of Rebel Alliance officers in games, who in this mod wields a minigun.
- Adaptation Expansion: The mod features some new content that wouldn't have been featured in Battlefront III, particularly maps and unit classes.
- BFG: The chaingun carried by the heavy class, as well as by the Rebel Fleet Commander and Dark Trooper.
- Orbital Bombardment: The Clone Commander, Rebel Fleet Commander and Imperial Officer are all capable of calling in a localized one of these. The results are usually devastating.
- Praetorian Guard: The Rebel Honor Guard, the Imperial Royal Guard and the Magnaguard.
- Pragmatic Adaptation: The developers have to work around the limitations of the Zero engine, and as a result some corners needed to be cut in terms of graphics and gameplay features.
