Road Maintenance Simulator is a German-made career simulation game developed by Caipirinha Games and published by Aerosoft GmbH and first released on April 7, 2022 on Steam.

In the game the player takes on the role of a German road maintenance worker and works a realistic depiction of a road worker's job. The player must take on tasks like trimming trees, removing roadside debris, making repairs to signs and traffic signals, and construction of the actual road. The game's tasks are broken up between highways, main roads, and country roads and the game features a Wide-Open Sandbox to traverse the world.

  • Hub Level: Your maintenance depot is a fully open area. You return to the depot between jobs and it's where all of your vehicles are kept.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: For a game that simulates the life of a road worker, it makes sure to push itself as a fun experience to play and enjoy the game.
  • Unexpectedly Realistic Gameplay: The game follows the job of a road maintenance worker very closely. Safety equipment must be set up alongside the road and the proper equipment is needed for all jobs.
  • Where the Hell Is Springfield?: The game takes place in Germany and even though it uses a real map, none of Germany's real location are shown on it.
  • Wide-Open Sandbox: The game's road network is fully open from the beginning and the player is freely able to travel the entirety of the game's world.
