Rex Ronan: Experiemtnal Surgeon is an educational run & run platformer game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Raya Systems and relased for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. The game is designed to teach kids about the dangerous health effects of cigarettes and tobacco.

Jake Westboro is a man with it all: a beautiful wife and child, a large house in the suburbs, and the high-paying position of a major executive for the Blackburn Tobacco Company. As a result of smoking since he was 15, however, Jake is now dying from the effects of the cigarettes that he once sold. An experimental surgeon, Dr. Rex Ronan, volunteers to shrink himself and a craft down to near-microscopic size, so he can travel inside of Jake's body and fight the various side effects of his smoking. However, the tobacco company is concerned that if Jake survives, he will speak to the world about the hazards of tobacco and ruin their business. This makes them secretly place microbots inside him en-masse in an attempt to stop Ronan from treating him and protect their financial bottom line.

True to the game's story, Rex plays through several levels each in different areas of Jake's body. Rex must use his blaster to destory various bad cells and other bad materials. Every now again the player is presented with facts about the effects of smoking cigarettes.
