PathPix is a Puzzle Game series by Kpix Games, available for computers and smartphones. Each level has you make a picture by connecting bases with the same color with lines, making sure the whole level is covered. You can check if every line is correct and zoom the screen in or out. Once a level is complete, you are shown the whole picture with a quote related to it. There have been many games in the series, with an official list available here.

This game provides examples of:

  • Colorblind Mode: You can have differently colored outlines around circles. They seem to be particularly useful for tritanopia and monochromacy.
  • Difficulty Levels: SpellPix has Easy and Hard modes. The former marks starting letters of words with two circles, freezes complete words by hiding their letters, and shows the letters of filled words that are not part of the solution. The latter doesn't.
  • Hint System: You can click the check button to show whether there are incorrect paths and erase them.
  • Marathon Level: Some of the later levels span over 50 tiles in terms of width and height, so they can easily take half an hour to solve.
  • Mission-Pack Sequel: There are many level packs that are made in the same engine as the original and don't introduce new mechanics to the gameplay, just different level sets.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: There is no plot for solving puzzles.
  • Oddball in the Series: PathPix Bubble uses rectangles or over 1x1 squares to create weirder paths, compare to the more grounded rest of the series.
  • Spin-Off: SpellPix games by the same developer use similar mechanics to PathPix, but you have to connect word paths in a grid full of letters, with some of them functioning as bases.
