One Button Bob (called The Adventures of One Button Bob on the title screen) is an Adobe Flash game by Ninjadoodle released in 2010. You control Bob who has to has to find the treasure, but the obstacles in his path will make that task much harder. Luckily, since Bob only uses one button, you just need to click skillfully to get past each threat. See how few clicks it takes for you to win!

The game received a sequel called One Button Arthur that has new levels and a medieval theme, but is otherwise identical in terms of gameplay.

This game provides examples ofh

  • Battle Boomerang: Bob uses a boomerang against spiders, bats, and the end boss.
  • Button Mashing: Clicking fast enough is necessary to build up speed to get past the disappearing bridge/chasing rock/dropping spiked wall.
  • Death Is a Slap on the Wrist: Dying only sents you back to the start of the very short section.
  • Final Boss: The last (and only) boss is a green creature with horns. Bob has to throw boomerangs at it and occasionally back off to avoid getting hit by it or falling rocks.
  • Indy Escape: The last sequence of part 2 has Bob run away from a boulder.
  • Minimalism: The whole game is very minimalistic. There's no plot, simple C64 graphics, and only one button is used as the game's title indicates.
  • Retraux: This Flash game uses Commodore 64 graphics. In fact, the intro screen emulates the boot screen of that machine and the password you get for winning (which is useless these days) is "C64ROCKS".
  • A Winner Is You: The only thing you get for winning is one screen of text and a picture of Bob with a treasure chest. The game does give you a password to use on Ninjadoodle.com's rewards section for your reward, but seeing as it's not available anymore, that's all you get.
