Luna Abyss is an upcoming first person Sci-Fi Horror Bullet Hell shooter video game from Bansai Collective. No release date has been confirmed but it is in development for PC and consoles.
Players control a convict sentenced to imprisonment on a “bastard moon”, where they are forced to scout the horrors below its surface, all while being monitored by the prison’s AI.

Luna Abyss contains examples of:
- Beneath the Earth: According to Aylin in the trailer, the player’s objective will be to explore the subterranean world beneath the moon’s surface.
- Body Horror: The Abyss has this in spades. From the first trailer alone, we have: a bird with with an honest to goodness axe for a head and what looks like rivets (or eyes) set on its wings, constantly spinning discs with four unblinking eyes set in a face with cherubic proportions on each side, literally skull-headed stalkers with too-gaunt proportions, a tumour-like blob covered in way too many eyes, and a head with three red-and-black striped eyes and what looks like sutures for a mouth, embedded inside machinery.
- Death World: According to the first trailer, the underworld of the moon is this. Aylin calls it “inhospitable”, and the dead bodies, creepy ruins, and monsters with energy attacks shown moments later confirm this. Subsequent trailers only reinforce this.
- Eyes Do Not Belong There: One of the monsters is a blob completely covered in eyes. Another monster seen embedded inside machinery has a third eye on its forehead.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: A number of NPCs shown in the trailer have deep red eyes, including the sinister-voiced Aylin.
