Khimera: Puzzle Island is a Puzzle Game spin-off of Khimera: Destroy All Monster Girls released on November 30, 2020. Although it is set after Destroy All Monster Girls, its story is self-contained and can be enjoyed without playing the previous title.

In search of the pieces of a legendary (and very valuable) tablet, Chelshia (the synthetic chimera), Amelia (the harpy), and Bernadette (the police officer) have sailed to the uncharted Hanje Isle. However, plenty of puzzles stand in their way, and as the adventure continues, it is revealed that there is a good reason for the tablets to be so hard to find.

Tropes:

  • Alliterative List: Used in the name of the organization, "International Department of Mythical, Magical, and Monstrous Affairs (IntMMMon)"
  • Civilization Destroyer: The mastermind has lived for at least a millennium, and as they say, "I have wiped entire civilizations from history!"
  • "Everybody Laughs" Ending: The epilogue ends with everyone laughing after Chelshia flubs agreeing with everyone else since there was a "second", "third", "fourth" ordinal sequence going and she said one that was already claimed.
  • Grid Puzzle: The puzzles of this island are nonograms.
  • One to Million to One: The mastermind, when Chelshia tries to punch them in their reveal cutscene, dodges by turning into four bats that reform away from the starting location.
  • Punny Name: The four tablets that are pieces of a larger one, being sought in this puzzle game are the "Puzzle-Tablets of Rhu-minate", "Ruminate" is "to think". Puzzling.
  • Shout-Out: As said at the mountaintop, Chelshia likes River City Ransom.
  • Vampiric Draining: The mastermind of the whole game clarifies their feeding habits, instead of physical consumption, it's the extraction of Life Energy:
Aylith: I'm not going to eat you, like, in the literal sense.
    [...]
I'm just going to drain your life energy, leaving your body behind as a lifeless husk!
