Happy Mouse is a 2013 fangame based on the creepypasta Suicidemouse.avi and is the sequel to Suicidemouse.exe.
This game contains examples of the following tropes:
- Evolving Title Screen: In ReallyHappyMouse.exe, after you play a game or the original jumpscare where you stay in the screen for too long appears, the screen will change to a close up of Mickey with red eyes, with the bloody word "REALLY" in "Happy Mouse". There are also bloody words "KEEP MICKEY HAPPY" at the bottom, alongside the music "Cryptopia" from the end of Sonic.exe, faint screaming from the Suicide Mouse footages, and sounds from Username 666.
- Jump Scare: If you stay too long in the start screen (for about 30 seconds), a Mickey Mouse screamer appears. If you get a game over, Mickey's face appears.
- Only Sane Man: Or girl, if you want to get technical. During the decline of the Sanity Meter, Minnie Mouse is the only one that doesn't even give any hateful glare to Mickey, instead showing sadness, or become an Eldritch Abomination later on, instead ending as a corpse.
- Sanity Meter:
- You are in control of Mickey, who looks happy and cheerful at the beginning when his sanity meter is 80 percent or more.
- If his sanity meter is at around 50-79 percent, the music changes from the "Steamboat Willie" track from Mickey Mania to the one from the first minute of the original Suicidemouse.avi video. The artwork for the buildings being much cruder, everyone except for Minnie and Goofy to give off a hateful glare and Mickey will start to look sad, as in the original.
- When his sanity meter is at 40-49 percent, only the sound of white noise takes over. The buildings will look pixelated and distorted with the sky being static, everyone except Minnie beginning to melt and Mickey will grin and bear his teeth.
- By the time his sanity meter is between 0-39 percent, the background completely changes to a creepy background of eyes and teeth that make up buildings, accompanied with the later half of the audio from the original video, Mickey's face will get mangled up, and his friends (except for Minnie who now looks like she's crying) being turned into hideous monstrosities, and when his sanity meter gets to 19 percent or lower, he'll begin to bleed, and Minnie will become a dead corpse.
