Funk Unplugged is a 3D Platform Game by Vamped Games.

Ampy is a living amplifier whos resume includes working under some of the greatest rock legends in history. One day, he and his friend are chilling on a beach when they're approached by evil robotic hats called G-Bots, who are plotting to steal all the music in the world.

Ampy, not standing for this, sets out with his friend to stop them.

The game was funded on Kickstarter on April 26th, 2016, and then released on Steam for PC on May 25th, 2018. The game has a website, which can be found here.


Funk Unplugged contains examples of:

  • Attack Drone: One of the enemy types Ampy can face is a flying robot with a gun coming out of the bottom.
  • Double Jump: Ampy can do this.
  • Ground Pound: This is one of the moves Ampy has.
  • High-Class Glass: One of the top hat G-Bots you face as a Boss Battle wears a monocle.
  • Mecha-Mooks: The G-Bots come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and serve as the enemies of the game.
  • Scary Scorpions: A mechanical version. Some G-Bots are robotic hats that walk around on spider-like legs, and shoot laser beams from a gun on a tail.
  • Sprint Shoes: Ampy can grab a power-up that sends him running forward for a short time.
  • Tin-Can Robot: Ampy's friend is a blue floating tin can.
  • Wall Jump: Ampy can jump from wall to wall to climb them.
