"See, rapping's really easy once you get the basic rhythm! Put two and two together, it's like a funky algorithm!"
Friday Night Funkin' BPM is a game mod of Friday Night Funkin' made by richilix.

The premise of the game involves Boyfriend getting together with Melodii and Parappa for a game of Uno.

The mod contains only one song titled "Turn Bass", but all three featured characters can be played.

The mod can be downloaded here.

For the comics by the same name, check here.

Tropes:

  • Aspect Ratio Switch: Playing as Parappa changes the aspect ratio of the screen.
  • Counter-Attack: When Parappa thinks he has an easy victory near the end of "Turn Bass", Melodii flips that right around by drawing a +4 card to increase the game's duration (which happens to have different coloured crewmates in Mike Geno's music video).
Parappa: Why panic if I'm gonna win? Just one more card and I'm out the door!
Melodii: Before you go, have one more card! It's a +4!
    Parappa: Now this means war!
  • Developer's Foresight: Getting a Game Over with any of the three playable characters triggers a unique animation for each one, completely fitting to their respective games.
    • If losing as Melodii, they look at their cards for a moment and pass down uneasily with Wingding Eyes before the prompts to try again or quit the song show up.
    • If losing as Parappa, his skeleton cracks as he develops a shocked expression.
    • Losing as Boyfriend triggers the classic blueballs death sequence, though from the pose BF is in during the song. Notably, this version of the Game Over screen details the statistics up to that point, and where exactly the player failed at.
  • Graceful Loser: Both Melodii and Parappa are accepting of Boyfriend winning Uno, with all three of them saying good game at the end.
  • Heads I Win, Tails You Lose: Boyfriend will always win the Uno game even if you are playing as Melodii or Parappa.
  • Suddenly Speaking: Midway through the song, Melodii and Parappa both question BF's way of singing a bit, before changing to singing actual lyrics between them for the rest of the song. Boyfriend remains singing in his style during the continuation, and happens to win the game while the other two rhythm-matchers are distracted against each other.
  • Unexpected Gameplay Change: Melodii's version is played closer to the style of their own game. Oddly enough though, Parappa (which Melodii's game was inspired by) plays exactly like Boyfriend.
  • The Unintelligible: Like in canon, Boyfriend just speaks in beep boops. While Melodii and Parappa start the same way, they shortly start actually rapping like they do in their actual games after lampshading Boyfriend's method of speech. The most Boyfriend says otherwise is "GG" at the end.
Parappa: Do you always rap like that, man?
    Boyfriend: Yeah!
Melodii: But that's just a bunch of beeps and boops!
Parappa: Yeah. You gotta use words and lyrics!
    Melodii: Like this!
