Foreclosed is an action-adventure game first developed by Merge Games and released worldwide on August 12, 2021.Evan Kapnos is a cyborg living in the futuristic Cyberpunk World of Block-chain who has recently been stripped of his identity. The theft of his identity has left him foreclosed, out of his job, and unable to access the city of Block-chain. This leaves him needing to escape from his situation before what is left of his identity is auctioned off.
The game is a third-person shooter game where Evan is able to use his weapon in different ways to combat different enemies. Collecting different brain implants allows Evan to make use of different powers and even merge powers together.
Tropes:
- Cyberpunk: The game takes place in the future where people have merged with robots and become transhuman cyborgs.
- Grand Theft Me: Evan's life has effectively been stolen from him because his brain implants are gone, he has lost his job, his home has been foreclosed, and he can't access Block-chain.
- Mix-and-Match Weapon: Evan can combine brain implants to combine the effects to any two of his different weapons.
