Dine N Dash is a game mod of Friday Night Funkin'. It focuses on a robot waitress named Tess who tries to get Boyfriend and Girlfriend to pay a hefty bill of 300 dollars. However, they are unable to pay due to forgetting their wallets, so they challenge her instead to avoid washing dishes.

Tess is also featured in another FNF mod titled Candlelight Flight.

Not to be confused with Diner Dash (or the Friday Night Funkin' mod based on it, Funkin Dash).

Song List:

  1. Order Up (Tess)
  2. Payback (Tess)
  3. Error (Tess (malfunctioning))

Bonus Songs

  1. Robattle (Jenny Wakeman vs. Tess)
  2. Prototype (Prototype vs. John Doe)
  3. Johndoechrome (Roger vs. Tess)

Tropes:

  • Adaptational Villainy: You really can't blame Tess for getting upset with Boyfriend and Girlfriend as they are essentially trying to skimp out on paying a $300 food bill that they should have made sure they had the money (and their wallets) for in the first place, something which they aren't noted to do in the base game.
  • Berserk Button: Tess does not appreciate being compared to Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot.
  • The Cameo: Whitty and Garcello can be seen in the two tables that Boyfriend and Girlfriend are in between.
  • Dine and Dash: The premise of the mod. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are trying to get out of paying their bill due to forgetting their wallets.
  • Expy: The game doesn't hide how similar Tess is to Jenny Wakeman what with Boyfriend pointing out her resemblance to the fact that one of the bonus songs has her facing Jenny.
  • Heads I Win, Tails You Lose: Even if you do good on Prototype, the prototype still manages to break in and supposedly kill John Doe.
  • Jumpscare: Losing in Prototype gets you treated to one of these. Also Johndoechrome has them due to it being a remake of Monochrome which was already full of them.
  • Promoted to Playable: Tess is the player character of Robattle and Johndoechrome.
  • Purely Aesthetic Glasses: Tess wears a big pair of glasses. Given that Tess is a robot, she doesn't really need to wear glasses at all.
  • Rage Breaking Point: After losing a second time, Tess goes berserk against Boyfriend.
  • Suddenly Speaking: Boyfriend speaks full sentences here.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: John Doe, the player character of "Prototype". He spends the song fearing for his life from the murderous robot, and gets killed off at the end.
