The Christmas Stories is a hidden object game series developed by Elephant Games.
Featuring many classic children's stories, this series is focused on the themes of Christmas as you are put in the shoes of protagonists who are on a mission to save Christmas from whoever is trying to ruin the holiday spirit. They'll need all the help they can get to track down the saboteur and save Christmas from losing its splendor.

Nutcracker
- Abhorrent Admirer: The Rat King, who obsessed over Mary ever since she was a child.
- Childhood Friend Romance: Albert and Mary met as kids over a book both wanted to read, which kickstarted their relationship.
- From Nobody to Nightmare: The Rat King started as a lab rat to a brilliant but reckless alchemist, but after he learned magic and gained a magic wand of his own, he becomes a nightmare for anyone who crosses him.
- Pretty in Mink: Mary, as a porcelain doll.
- Taken for Granite: The alchemist, in his last experiment gone wrong, turned into a gold statue.
A Christmas Carol
- Ambiguous Gender: The Ghost of Christmas Past. Though, it is voiced by a man.
- Married in the Future: Changing the past allowed Scrooge and Belle to marry and have children.
- Human Popsicle: Evil Scrooge inflicts this on Tiny Tim, trying to kill him. The Ghost of Christmas Present manages to stall it until you've found tokens of spring to save him.
- Living Statue: Good Scrooge takes control of a stone statue to combat Evil Scrooge once and for all.
- Out of Character Is Serious Business: Scrooge normally wouldn't socialize with anyone, not even you. When a letter he sends reaches you, the message for help tips off something is wrong.
- Summoning Ritual: You create a never-ending candlelight to summon your mother's spirit for help dealing with Want and Ignorance.
- Time Stands Still: This helps you have more than enough time to save your uncle's life.
- Used to Be a Sweet Kid: You learn in one of the minigames that Scrooge loved his sister Fan despite the struggles in his childhood.
- Would Hurt a Child: Evil Scrooge had no qualms about endangering Tiny Tim's life just to keep Scrooge from becoming a better man.

- Historical Domain Character: Hans Christian Andersen
- History Repeats: Albert was changed into a nutcracker again, but this time his sister Nina and her fiancé were turned into toys, too.
- Love Potion: The Baron used magic to make Nina love him.
