A game about imagination.
Blek is a puzzle game developed by brothers Dennis & Davor Mikan and released on mobile devices in December 2013. In the game the player has to draw a snake-like black line on the screen which immediately gets "recorded" and played back repeatedly. The black line must be moved across the screen to collect colored dots while avoiding black dots. The movement of the line changes to reflect the player's physics such as how fast they draw the line. As the game progresses, the levels get more complex but offer the player the ability to create chains to eliminate dots.

Tropes found in the game:

  • Art Game: A simplistic art game which consists of monochrome levels and the only color coming from the destructible objects in the level.
  • Bizarre Puzzle Game: Draw a black line on screen to eliminate dots while keeping the line alive and moving.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: Being a puzzle game for mobile devices, there is no story or context of any sorts to explain what is going on.
