''Antarctic Adventure'' is a game developed by {{Konami}} in which the player controls a penguin racing over the ice, jumping over ponds and crevices and collecting flags. It was first released for the {{MSX}} in 1983, and subsequently ported to other systems. The Famicom/NES version was one of the first third-party releases for the platform (along with ''Yie Ar Kung-Fu'', also from Konami).

The game got an MSX-only sequel called ''Penguin Adventure'' (1986), which is also known for being supposedly the first game HideoKojima worked on while being employed by Konami.

* SuperSpeed: As WebVideo/WeirdVideoGames pointed out, if you work out Penta's speed from the distance meter, he travels at ''Mach 58!''
* TimedMission: On level 1 you have to travel 900 km in 70 seconds[[note]]average speed of 46286 km/h[[/note]], level 2 1,100 km in 90 seconds and so on with various time, distances and amount of turns and obstacles.
