My Alignment is Bacon.

I edit a lot of tropes for a variety of reasons. While awkward structure is not technically wrong, it is sometimes a pain to read. Of course, You Make Me Sic is not the only reason I edit. Lately I'm correcting a lot of misused pronouns, e.g., "her" for "she". So "genocide" is a verb now? I've seen this a few places, and to me it looks awful used as a verb.

Tropes I look at frequently include:

Less Frequently Visited:

I often take issue with Word of God when it comes from somewhere other than the original media, or blatantly contradicts what can be inferred from said media. This seems like an insult to the fans to me. For examples: Dark Chronicle: Max's age; Wreck It Ralph: Vanellope's teleporting.

I was a member of a theatrical combat troupe for about 5 years. Theatrical weapons are made stronger than historical weapons to endure repeated use against each other. One thing it taught me is that I was not as smart about historical weapons as I thought I was. Of course, that's not that hard, when most information I had came from Role Playing Games, which are often wrong about weapons. Especially because someone who claims to have been there since Gygax's day claims "a bunch of stuff we thought would be fun". And children's books with pictures of weapons don't exactly give an indication of how they were used. So I do get offended if you point me to a trope to tell me how weapons I've used myself are "supposed to" work.

I absolutely hate Word Cruft, do not use more words than are necessary. More words != greater understanding. While we're on the subject: I like being precise too, but not everyone wants to have to have to go to dictionaries.com because you decided to use a precise word that few people understand. It goes against looking like this is written by a single person.

There are only 6 seasons of Voltron: Legendary Defender.
