Well, wouldja look at that. Hi there.
The name's Colleen, I'm 15, and I'm currently a highschool Sophomore. I live with my Mother, one sibling, one cat, and one dog. I discovered TV Tropes about a year ago while I was supposed to be researching a paper, and I have wasted every minute of research time I've been given ever since.
A little about me: I'm a huge nerd. Especially about animation. I'm not picky about the medium; CGI, stop-motion, hand-drawn, it's all good with me, as long as it's done well. I've seen a good variety of stuff, from the old Mickey Mouse cartoons to the newer stuff from Cartoon Network, and I'm continually fascinated by it. I'm hoping to one day strive for a job in the animation business, and I'm willing to do just about anything to get there.
I'm also a political activist. I try to stay informed about the issues and the state of America, and I frequently try and spread awareness about unjust laws and issues, even though I can't really do much on my own. I am a firm believer in justice, equality, and people's rights. If I was older, I would probably be participating in the 99% rallies and Occupy Wall Street movements, but seeing as how I'm only fifteen... Well, I can't exactly ride my bike there. So I do what I can on my own, even though it's not much.
In all honesty, I don't really do much around here. I edit the occasional article, float around the forums... But otherwise, I just kind of observe.
