I'm a British student engineer and stage technician with an experience base mainly tied around pneumatic cannons (or Spudguns), which are generally made out of common plumbing pipe, so I have some MacGyver like skills.

Attempted artist.

I was the original proposer of the {{Deadly Dodging}} Trope, and I've contributed in so many places I can't remember.

remember. Long time fan of {{Warhammer 40000}}, you'll probably often find me contributing to the subject - or cleaning up other people's misconceived contributions. (Space Marines are seven feet tall, ''maybe'' seven and a half for a really tall one . Not nine, not ten - SEVEN!)

*{{Million to One Chance}} - I have legendary dice rolling luck. See {{Random Number God}}
*{{Good Thing You Can Heal}} - obviously not completely literally, but I have incredibly bad luck with getting into events that could easily be fatal, and then incredibly good luck with not dying.
*{{MacGyvering}} - Cannons from bits of pipe found at the hardware store? No problem.
*PercussiveMaintenance - All stage technicians are fully versed in this.

A few times.
** Often
with getting into events that could easily be fatal, and then incredibly dice, where I get very long streaks of very good luck with not dying.
far more often than I deserve.
** Also once in a game of Gin Rummy where I was dealt (from a well shuffled deck) a straight flush that missed only one card from the middle. Guess which card I pick up in my first round?
*{{Major Injury Underreaction}} - My reaction to someone telling me I had broken my arm (which wasn't even close to being straight!) was "Are you sure?". I also have a habit of supergluing any cuts shut so I can get back to more interesting things than bleeding.

*{{Catchphrase}} - [[BritishEnglish "Bollocks"]] or "Lobbocks" [[GoshDangIttoHeck if the situation requires it.]]
*{{Crowning Moment of Awesome}} - A couple of examples for now:
** When playing Warhammer 40,000 - Having a unit survive the entire firepower of the enemy army unscratched by freakily good armour save rolling. I later worked out the chances of me making all those saves was of the order of 2,240,000 to 1. See probability above.
** Being on a spudgun forum for barely more than a year, and building up such a reputation that I was recently contacted by a professional paintball gun builder who wants me to assist in improving his own launchers. The best part? He's sending me one of his $1500 paintball guns for me to assess.
*{{Crowning Music of Awesome}} - In a Youtube video of one of my launchers, I decided to shun the overused death metal sound track that most people use. Instead, I used Nightwish's "Last of the Wilds" and the number of comments I get that compliment the music is pretty significant. It's now essentially my {{Theme tune}} on the forums.
*{{Weirdness Magnet}} - I see weird people.

*{{Word of Dante}} - There's a set of forums where I'm not part of the site staff, just a heavily posting regular member. However, if at any point I offer an interpretation of the site rules, it's often taken as fact from then on, even by the moderators and admins.

*{{Word of Dante}} - There's a set I appear to have reached some sort of forums state of nirvana on the primary {{Inquisitor}} forums, where people seem to think I'm some sort of authority on the background and rules. I'm not part of the site staff, just a heavily posting regular member. However, if at any point I offer an interpretation of the site rules, it's often taken as fact from then on, even by the moderators and admins.sure quite why.

!!Forgotten Souls
I know there's no such thing as notability, but I'm not quite so greedy as to take up a whole article for what is less than un-notable, so I'm tacking it on to my troper article.

Set in the {{Warhammer 40000}} Universe, this refers to a bunch of characters I've created to roleplay/write about. Not quite Fan Fic in that I'm just borrowing the universe, but if you really want to think about it that way.

It has 6 main characters:

* Inquisitor Marco Robert Skoll.
** The main protagonist - his job revolves around bringing lost/dangerous artefacts back into the Imperium's control. Proficient minor Telekinetic. Soul linked to Silva.
* Ex-Imperial Guardswoman Silva Birgen.
** Total {{Badass}}. Has a {{disability superpower}} - despite the loss of half her face, her left arm and right leg, they've been rebuilt from [[ArtificialLimbs bionics]], as per standard {{We Can Rebuild Him}}. The arm has a laser, flame thrower and a set of claws {{Marvel}} would probably get the lawyers on me for. Pretty cheerful for the most part, but definitely a {{Deadpan Snarker}} at times. [[BoatLights Heterochromic]] - actually, just completely subscribes to {{Fashionable Asymmetry}} because of her mismatched bionics.
*** Averts the tropes {{Beauty is never tarnished}} and {{Cybernetics Eat Your Soul}}
* Smuggler Arden "Icebreaker" Holf.
** Bit like a cross between Han Solo and Malcolm Reynolds, but older, and spends more time around the booze - and rather loquacious when he's tipsy. Not an alcoholic, but a little too keen on it for his good. {{Lovable rogue}}
* Arbites Enforcer Gio Ciris
** Former hunter of people with psychic powers. Excels at non-lethal combat.
* Inquisitor Byssus, Marco's old mentor.
** So far only mentioned, I have plans for Byssus to make a speaking appearance later.
* Frost
** Female Bounty hunter. Very proficient. Few people know her name.
