Hi, fellow Catholic and abstaining-till-marriage person! (Which I don't intend to thrust to the forefront of the conversation, but just briefly note because I don't often meet someone with the same personal goals.) Have you read Jim Butcher's other stuff (such as Dresden Files), and if so how does it compare to Codex Alera? As someone who's about to try out the first book, I'd be interested to know. ~Elisabel
