- Christmas Rushed: A more complex version of A.D.M.S. that extended to the final route was dropped because the game only had 8 months of development - it was released in December 1996.
- Remade for the Export: Although first released in 1996, the game's first English release came via fan translation in 2011. As for the official localization, that only happened for the 2017 remake. This delay contributed to the game's perceived datedness as many visual novels it influenced one way or another had arrived in the meantime.
- What Could Have Been: According to Ryu Takami (one of the composers for the game), A.D.M.S. was originally supposed to be used in the final route as well and be three-dimensional to boot. Hiroyuki Kanno would later try to implement this original vision in Exodus Guilty.
