Trivia / World's Finest (1941)

• Sequel in Another Medium: Issue #271 is simultaneously a Recursive Adaptation and a sequel to a few episodes of the 1940's The Adventures of Superman, namely the ones dealing with Zoltan (in which Batman and Robin first appeared in the show) and Atoman (who is the villain of this story).
• What Could Have Been: Issue #323, wherein Batman angrily breaks off his partnership with Superman, was the book's final issue, but it was supposed to be a temporal cancellation as the higher-ups at DC Comics revamped the concept. However, the new continuity created by Crisis on Infinite Earths later that year led to both characters being rebooted by writers who believed Superman and Batman to be too different to get along, let alone want to hang out together, making a team-up book impossible for a while.
